Just wanted to give you some feedback from my trip working the RHIB Izit (Alex Thompsom Racing). I, in the last month have had the opportunity to really get the feel for your RHIB clocking up 85 engine hours of running time and 3 weeks of working the craft. In sea states from flat calm to 3m swell with force 7 winds day and night. At all times your craft performed in a manor unrivalled by any other power boat I have ever driven. I also clocked 2400 towing miles, the first 1300 miles were quite scary as she started snaking at around 53mph but I moved the winch post forward by a foot for my return journey and this solved the problem and I was able to cruise back at 60mph.

The boat had a few problems in the first days out there like the life raft exploding causing a little deck damage. It took a while to understand the fuel gage but after a few refills and logging amount I was soon on top .The only complaint is the black sponsor's a pain to keep clean and keep burning my legs!

So we had a few famous people on board like Boris Becker and David Coultard whom had a great time (I will forward some pics for you) and ITV film crews who tried filming in 2m swell from the bow! All the passengers said that the boat was great.

I found the handling very good especially at slow speeds in harbours always hitting my mark every time the twin engines helping me all the way. This also helped with the transfers from rib to yacht and back sometime in a 2m aswell.

It was great to work in Monoco harbour on race weekend with hundreds of other ribs and tenders in and out all the time (the busiest waters i have ever been in) all jealous of course as the craft is a real head turner. During the race I found the rear seat a great platform to watch the race from around people who pay £45000 a day to park. I just plotted up at the front no worries. Have the fright of my life when all the foghorns from 500 motorcruisers went off at the end of the race.

I would like to gain some more experience with these RHIBs and would be happy to come and help you guys out if you are ever short staffed or need help with building or running the craft.

Thanks again for building such a great boat and I will for sure come and say hello when I am back in Fishguard.

I collected our new boat from John Price this weekend and of course you will know that this had some special considerations regarding the build quality so as to be capable of handling the Round Britain Offshore Powerboat Race this June. To say I was impressed was an understatement. You guys should be extremely proud of your standards and the product you produce. In hindsight I can confirm that I could not have picked better partners in Humber and Quinquari for this boat build. I can only wish you all well for the future and I am confident that we will be back for many more Humber hulls in the future.

Thank you for the delivery of the boat. I am delighted with the package, and the ease with which it's all happened. The engine is extremely quiet, and we've been having some great fun.

As Marine Sergeant with the Dyfed- Powys Police I am delighted with the purchase of our Humber 8meter RIB from Quinquari Marine. I found the team to be experienced, knowledgeable and approachable during all aspects of the build. We had a full consultation throughout the process and were able to make amendments as the projects progressed. I have no hesitation in recommending Quinquari Marine to other emergency services.
