How much will delivery cost me?

There is only one delivery charge per order. This charge is automatically calculated according to the overall weight and volume size of the products you have selected to buy; it doesn’t matter how many items you order.

Delivery Services

As many of you will already know our main business is manufacturing. This means that unfortunately at the present time we are unable to offer next day and 48HR delivery services. This is something that we aim to improve on in the future. We therefore can only offer UK Standard/ European Economy Delivery at the present time. **Please see delivery options for further information.

UK standard Delivery

  • Orders will be despatched within 3 working days (unless otherwise stated on the product pages)
  • Delivery service can take up to 5 working days (including Saturday)
  • We’ll email you a confirmation once your order has been shipped from our warehouse.
  • A signature may be required on receipt. Unless a specific delivery instruction has been left for the carrier *example: Leave behind bin.

*We aim to meet these delivery times but during busy periods deliveries may take a little longer. Occasionally tech updates to our systems or force majeure events, such as extreme weather conditions, will mean that these delivery services aren’t available. However, we will always work hard to keep these temporary changes to a minimum. Humber cannot be held liable for any parcels that are lost or stolen as a result of any specific delivery instructions left for the carrier.

European Economy Delivery

  • Orders will be despatched within 3 working days (unless otherwise stated on the product pages)
  • Delivery service can take up to 7-14 working days (including Saturday)
  • We’ll email you a confirmation once your order has been shipped from our warehouse.
  • A signature may be required on receipt. Unless a specific delivery instruction has been left for the carrier *example: Leave behind bin.

International Delivery

We do offer international Delivery services. However, at the moment we do have standard rates set up and therefore each parcel must be priced individually.

  • We’ll email you a confirmation once your order has been shipped from our warehouse.

Pallet Delivery Service

We do offer Pallet delivery services for all of the items which we sell. Each delivery is priced individually according to the overall weight and volume. For further details on this please get in touch so that we can help you further. 

  • Orders will be despatched within 3 working days (unless otherwise stated on the product pages)
  • Delivery service can take up to 3 working days (including Saturday)
  • We’ll email you a confirmation once your order has been shipped from our warehouse.
  • A signature will be required on receipt
  • On some occasions a forklift truck/ offloading mechanism may be required. In the event of this we will make you fully aware before the item(s) are despatched.

What if I'm out when you try to deliver?

Depending on the overall weight and volume of the item your delivery with either be sent via Royal Mail 1st & 2nd class or Interlink Couriers. The delivery company will leave a card to let you know they have tried to deliver the item to you. They will either leave the item at your local post offer. Alternatively they will redeliver the item to you within 7 days of the original delivery date (usually the next date although this isn’t guaranteed!)

What should I do if my order hasn't been delivered yet?

Your estimated delivery date is in your Order Confirmation email – please allow until this date for your order to arrive.

You’ll be able to follow your order if it’s been sent with a trackable service. To check this, all you need to do is log into ‘My Account’ and view your order. If the status shows ‘Track This Order’, you’ll be able to follow your parcel. If the status shows ‘Shipped’, your order has been sent with your local postal service and isn’t trackable.

Your tracking link will be able to provide up to date information on the status of your order.

Can I amend my order once it has been placed?

Unfortunately once an order has been placed we can’t make any changes. This includes changing delivery addresses or payment methods.  However, you may be able to cancel your order and place a new one instead. ** You must cancel your order within 2 hours of placing; you can do this by contacting us directly.

What is your Returns Policy?

If you’re looking to return a faulty or incorrect item, please get in touch so we can get this sorted for you.

If you have received an order by post and wish to return it, you must do so within 15 days after the item has been received. In the first instance, calling us on +44 (0)1482 226100 or emailing us at info@humberribs.co.uk.

Any return is subject to the following conditions:

  • All items must be returned along with a copy of the original despatch note
  • The product must be unused. In the unlikely event that an item is returned to us in an unsuitable condition, we may have to send it back to you.
  • All items incur a 10% overall product value restocking fee
  • Orders which are cut, made to order or are specially manufactured will not be exchanged or refunded
  • You will receive a full refund of the price paid less 10% product value restocking fee (excluding relevant delivery charges).
  • We try hard to accept all returns and they don’t need to be in the original box or bag, as long as they're securely packed. Where possible, returned items should include tags and any packaging.
  • The goods are your until they reach our warehouse, so make sure it’s packed up properly and can’t get damaged on the way!
  • We are not responsible for any items that are returned to us by mistake.

With so many of us now buying online, we often have lots of cardboard boxes to dispose of. Here at Humber we choose to re-use them.
